LINCOLN TRAIL CONFERENCE MEET The Rebels Cross Country teams went to the Dunes Golf Course southwest of Kewanee Thursday afternoon (Oct. 4) for the LTC XC Meet. On a cool afternoon the Rebel Girls dispite only having 5 girls running came home with the Team Championship for the second time in three years. The Girls had 29 points to runner up Annawan/Wethersfield 41 points. The Rebel's Olivia Frail (19:04) was the Girls race champion. Besides Olivia, the Girls had 3 more All-Conference runner (must be in the top 10 finishers to be awarded All-Conference) Josie Price (20:23 - 6th place), Ashley Orrick (20:45 - 8th place) and Lena Becker (21:47 - 9th place). Sarah Fairfield (23:55 - 16 place) was the 5th Rebel Girl to finish out the scoring. Olivia, Josie, Lena and Sarah all set new Personal Best times today. On the boy side, the Rebels Boys finished 6th in the team scoring. Riley Down (18:01 - 10th place) was first to finish for the Boys earning All-Conference honors. Rounding out the top 5 scorers for the Boys were Alex Welch (19:33 - 22nd place), Payton Stahl (20:13 - 29th place), Caden Daum (20:19 - 31st place) and Colby Carroll (20:53 - 34th place). Also running for the Boys were Jack Winans (21:45 - 39th place), Chris Roark (24:23 - 49th place) and Brett Browning (24:31 - 50th place). Payton, Caden and Colby all ran Personal Best times today. There were 30 Girl finishers and 51 Boys finishers. The meet was hosted by the Mid-County Cougars.
